  So... I'm aware this place has a reputation, and went there out of desperation tonight. Every single part of the care I received was phenomenal, I don't know what else to say. I'm from Toronto and the level of competence and bedside manner was better there than anywhere else I've been.

  family friend has been in there for a month because they aren't relieving proper care. from what I've heard they're short staffed, and he's managed to get a blood infection from the hospital which is making him have to stay longer than he has to. disgraceful really

  My mother has an infection in her legs. Last Saturday she was taken by ambulance and we were told she has cellulitis in her leg. The doctor put her on a drip but then sent her home with oral antibiotics. The next day the infection was worse and it has spread to her left leg. The same doctor. Dr. Mark Foley said she didn't need another IV I was stunned because it had spread to her other leg since the day before. I said why not another IV ? She's 89 and as he said the said the previous day she is more susceptible because of her age. And yet he sends her home again. The next day we receive a phone call from a nurse who tended to her legs the day before and said her blood cultures came back and the doctor wanted her to be on an IV for at least 3 days. My sister takes her down after waiting for almost 5 hours and again same doctor says What is she doing here? My sister had told him what the nurse had said and he tells my sister there was a mix up and she didn't need to be there. Now the other leg has now turned into a brownish and red color. The next day when the VON arrived she couldn't believe she wasn't on a drip. The leg has blistered and now it's spreading upward again. Of course the weekend is so busy that the wait time was at least 4hrs so the nurse said that she would call her doctor in the morning and hopefully he will put her on more IV. THIS IS BIOLOGY 101 DOCTOR FOLEY. YOU MESSED UP 3 X YOUR A DISGRACE TO THE MEDICAL FIELD.

  Discovered I had a broken bone in my elbow. I was seen promptly and scheduled for surgery. Despite a couple of clerical delays, I left well on the mend. Doctors, nurses and staff were professional, courteous and showed incredible compassion.
